Cancellation Policy

At Sensory Kidz Therapy we understand that last minute cancellations can be unavoidable for a variety of reasons, and we are happy to chat about this as situations arise.

If you’re unable to attend your appointment, we will offer you an alternative service to your usual face-to-face session, such as creating a home program of activities, creating/updating visuals for your child, creating relevant resources for your child, or we may agree to spend the session time liaising and communicating with teachers, carers and/or other Allied Health professionals in your team. Please be advised that this is charged at the same rate as a therapy session, as the same length of time is allocated. 

Cancellation of appointments requires 24hr notice.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice of your appointment, or if you fail to attend your appointment without notification, will incur a full session fee charge.

Repeated cancellations will interrupt a child’s therapy progress, and may require an alternative plan to be discussed, and may result in your therapy spot being offered to another family. We will do our best to find an alternative option for you in this situation.
